Gettin to the bush.

So now im a CPL Multi with 350 hrs. I want to get up to the great canadian north to start a career flying bush planes. Where dose one look to start makin contacts for bush flyin'. At present I am a load planner for CargoJet Canada. I get to meet alot of the pilots (most of which are new) and they have offered one or two names, but most of their contacts are airline peoples. Surely there is a list of all the canadian comercial companies somwhere....no?

Have you tried Borek Air? They look like a very interesting company.

I think Wings! magazine publishes a directory of operators some time during the year. If you go to the Calgary library they'll probably have copies there. I've also heard of a few people going up to Yellowknife and getting a local job trying to get on the ramp for Tindi or Buffalo.
