Is it worth using a microlight to save money on modular costs?

Given that microlights can now be included towards PPL hours and should also be able to be used towards CPL very soon, does it make sense to hour build using microlights?

The only drawback I can think of is that to my understanding EASA unlike the CAA doesn't credit microlight hours so if wanted a dual license, hours in a microlight would be wasted. However, given only Ryanair mainly need a dual license, this doesn't seem like too much of a heavy cost.

Am I missing anything or is main con regarding the dual license? Is a dual license worth it purely just for Ryanair given costs c.10k more?
