Best modular route post PPL

Hello,

I gained my PPL and night rating last year. Now the weather is starting to get better I am going to start racking up more hours over summer and move onto advanced training. I have my IRR already paid for.

I’ll be starting my ATPLs after summer, but would like to get a mini head start before I pay for the whole course with BGS.

My question is, do I need to do both EASA and UK ATPLs? I’m sure there is a thread of this somewhere, happy to be redirected.

Also, anything else I should aware of before I spend an insane amount of money?

Thanks

The obvious question is do you have a class one medical? Your primary licence should be match your right to live and work. Get EASA only if you can afford it.
Don't spend an insane amount of money - spend a reasonable amount. PPL Night IRR is a great start and will lead to a CBIR once you've done the exams.
