new modular ATO - Oxford Airline Training
A new modular ATO has got its first approvals at Oxford Kidlington just across the road from Leading Edge. They're approved for APS MCC already with approvals for Advanced UPRT and MEP, CPL and IR pending in the CAA pipeline. Their stated aim is to provide a quality option purely for modular flight training, ie competition for Aeros etc. They are planning or have two DA42 FNPTII simulators, up to six Diamond DA42 TDI aircraft for multi-engine flight instruction and the Super Decathlon for AUPRT, so quite a big operation. I'm going to visit next week.
