Does ATPL ground school country matter for UK EASA dual modular?

Hi all,

Does the country you take the EASA ATPL exams with matter when it comes time to apply for EASA licenses and ratings?

Can I do the exams with Austrocontrol and use that to apply for a license with any other EASA member country, or do I have to sit the exams of the member state whose license I would like to apply for.

Reason I am asking is because I am training in the UK but hold also Bulgarian citizenship, so would like to apply for their license. But all ATPL ground school providers in the UK use Austrocontrol.

So for example I could go to BGS and ask them for dual UK and Bulgarian CAA exams?

UK and EASA exams, take the exams in Bulgaria and UK. But exams taken with Austro Control are valid all over Europe. Believe me, they are a very flexible authority, without knowing what the Bulgarians are like.
