CAA Class 1 Medical History Proof
Hi all,
I find myself in what I feel is a unique position and wondered if anyone had any advice or could share their stories if similar.
I am a British citizen, born in the UK however spent all my childhood living in Spain, up until the age of 15 where we moved back to the UK, upon completing college at 18 I got a scholarship within the merchant navy and now currently working on charter yachts globally, mainly Europe however season dependant. I have always loved flying, during my 4 years In the UK I achieved my PPL and have been flying on and off ever since including when I come home on shore leave. I have always wanted to pursue an airline career but being frank funds from family were not possible. I am in a position now where my years of saving have put me in a position where I can go ahead with this.
My question lies with regards to getting a Class 1 medical, I have been a class 2 holder since being 15 for my PPL, never any issues, however when I went ahead to book my class 1, looked at Heathrow and Birmingham locations, both state I must bring and provide evidence of my medical history. My problem I face is I have only ever been hospitalised once when I was 4 , I had a hernia operation, however ever since that I've only ever been checked by company doctors for Seafarer medicals and also immunisations for our relevant ports of call. I don't have anywhere where I can provide them with a proof of my clean history, for example im not registered at any GP in the UK.
I have rang both Heathrow and Birmingham medical centres however both are very unhelpful and simply stated it's my responsibility to provide medical evidence etc all seems quite ambiguous to me.
Could anyone clarify what you need to bring to prove a clean bill of health so to speak? Or is this a hurdle already which I cannot seem to pass.
Thanks in advance for any help.

They examine you, they ask you questions and you answer them and if that's all they have to go on that should be enough. Lack of medical history in an otherwise unhealthy person should not stop you from getting a medical. I think you might be overthinking it, they did give you a class 2.
