Lightbulb Commercial Airline Pilot Training - is it confidential?

Dears,
I was told that information on training of commercial airline pilots (such as the location where the training is taking place) is kept highly confidential by the airlines. Is this so? Thank you so very much for your input! It's highly appreviated.

I don't think that's true, given the number of airlines mentioned in most training schools' adverts.

Do you mean where they do their Type rating training and recurrent Sims? Definitely not. The Sim centres usually have the airlines name written on the side of the building! Why would they even need to keep that a secret? Airlines will often send people to other airlines simulators based on availability.

Thank you very much for the response. I have also no explanation why the airlines would keep this a secret, this is the reason for my question here to gain the opinion/experience of professionals. I was told that the airline would never disclose where they are training their commercial airline pilots (i.e., the city of the training facility) because it is strictly confidential. To me, this does not make sense, but then again, I am not a pilot and there is no specific information online on this point to verify this information. Hence, my question here. Thanks again for taking the time to respond!
