UK CAA CPLMEIR at Fly In Spain
Hello
I've been considering my options for CPLMEIR training, I am a UK resident with a UK CAA medical and ATPLs completed under the CAA.
It was my understanding that I could only complete my CPLMEIR training in the UK, in UK airspace, however I have been in contact with Fly In Spain who advised they can offer UK CAA training and I can do my test in Spain with them.
Does this sound right? It goes against my understanding so I am sceptical.
For interest, training in Spain is very attractive to me as I love the country and the better weather would make it more likely to avoid training interruptions. The price is also attractive, at around 25000EUR which converted is about £10000 cheaper than my choice of UK provider.
Thanks
G
EDIT: Did a bit more research and found Falcon at Biggin have partnered with a Spanish training provider in Spain and now have UK CAA approval. This makes me question FlyInSpain even more as it was a big deal for Falcon to get this partnership with Aerodynamics, so I thought I'd have seen more news about it if FlyInSpain had been awarded the same approval.
