E.U airline employment as a foreigner with E.U aviation certification

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know the level of risk in obtaining an E.U license in Spain being a U.S nationalist. I heard from a friend that is a pilot that it would be highly difficult to obtain an E.U work visa even if I completed licensing requirements by E.U standards. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge on the subject.

Thank you in advance!

I would stick this on the main pilot forums. Unlikely to get an answer here.

Why would you want to work in Europe when all the jobs are in the US?

Really?
I wouldn’t go to Spain for any licensing.
How easy is it for a European pilot to work in the USA?

ah, I apologize. Thank you for the heads up. I did not realize I was posting on a specific pilot forum.
