Good flight school/club in Florida
I am an FAA CPL/IR/ME holder with 1000h TT, who has not been flying for the last two years due to COVID. I was recently offered an FO job, but before I commit to my initial type rating training, I would like to take 15-20 flight hours just to refresh my skills and knowledge, since they obviously got rusty.
Basically, I need some dual flight time in both single- and multi-engine aircraft, resulting in BFR and IPC. Therefore, I am looking for recommendations on decent flight schools (or, even better, great CFIs) in Florida, preferably Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. Newer fleets are preferred (as my type rating training will be in a G1000-equipped aircraft) but not mandatory. I tried to use AOPA Flight School Finder, but there are so many options that it's quite difficult to choose.

I don’t really understand why I have to justify myself in front of some random person from the internet, but FYI, yes, I am Russian, who has been living in Singapore for the last eight years (you know, it's pretty problematic to commit "war crimes" when you live 9,000 km from the war theater). Also, FYI, I never voted for Putin, never supported his policy, and left the country exactly because of total disagreement with his political course, like many other compatriots. Needless to say, how I am shocked, terrified, and embarrassed by what this lunatic is doing in Ukraine right now. In your world picture (fairly primitive, I must say), all Russians might be murderers, villains and fascists. In reality, however, Russians, like any other nation, consist of different people with different views and opinions.

I found Pilots Paradise in Sebastian, FL quite good. They are familiar with EASA/UK licenses and how to legally fly in the US with one. I'm not sure what license you hold, but it could be worth talking to them.
