PPL Theory EASA and CAA (Modular training)
Hi to every one,
My name is Pav, I'm 20 years old. Quick introduction, I'm Italian (Eticnaly Indian), last year I finished my diploma in Mechanics and Mechatronics. After that, we moved to the UK. I was supposed to go to University last September but I was late and I hadn't an English certificate. Then I started to work and saved some money. Now it doesn't look impossible to be a pilot, I've taken 1 Hour lesson in Cessna 152. I don't want to go to University (mechanical engineering) because it will take 5 years and I'll never be a pilot. (
-ITALIAN NATIONALITY
-UK SETTLEMENT
I've already decided and contacted many schools in UK and Europe. (I opened this thread after reading many opened threads)
The best is smart aviation Poland for my journey. (Around 50k euro) ( What do you recommend?)
1 problem EASA or CAA? or both?
MY PLAN
_PPL theory in UK EASA and CAA (i need to take 2 times the exams and 2 medicals)
_Night VFR
_ATPL theory
Questions
1 problem EASA or CAA? or both?
2 How can I do the theory in the UK?
-Where can I get the material and what do I need?
-Where can I book the exams (some ground school offer)? EASA and CAA
After that, I can go to Poland for flying hours.
Someone here wrote that in America it will cost me 20K all but what will be the price to convert here? Where can I do?
I just want to start the theory for the PPL so please tell me from where I can start study (books or digital material).
There is another issue why I want to do it like this, I'm learning English and I think I'm not very fluent at speaking.
I saved 14k and I'm still working in a warehouse (now only weekends). I can work full time and save easily 400 per week or even more (12p/h - overtime 18p/h) but first, I will do the PPL theory. I'm living with my parents but I would do with my money.
I'm living in Leicester.
