Approach procedures with TAA

Hello!

I'm doing the EASA IR for helicopters, and have a question regarding the procedures for approaches with terminal arrival altitudes; when cleared for the approach, are you cleared to descend within the apropriate sector?

This is from FAA's IPH:
Once cleared for the approach, pilots may descend in the
TAA sector to the minimum altitude depicted within the
defined area/subdivision, unless instructed otherwise by
air traffic control. Pilots should plan their descent within
the TAA to permit a normal descent from the IF/IAF to the
FAF.

Is there a similar reference to be found in the EASA documentation?
