Loss of licence insurance

Hi all,

just looking for a bit of advice regarding loss of licence (medical) insurance. Can anybody recommend a particular company? I’ve heard of both APPN and the balpa loss of licence which seem to the the main two. Also looked into Sten Pilot insurance however call backs and general communication seems poor.

Also, if taking out sufficient cover, would you recommend also taking out life insurance like the type mortgage company’s sell when taking out a mortgage or would pilot loss of licence be sufficient?

Any thoughts and recommendations would be much appreciate.
