Post Issuing Pilot License from Another EASA State

Hello all,

I'm currently doing my Integrated ATPL in Spain and I want to issue my license in Austria. What are the requirements for that? Other than moving my medical history to Austria.

You need to discuss this with your Head of Training before taking any (further) action.
Austria will specify who is approved to conduct the CPL & IR flight tests.

I can do the skill test with an approved Austrian examiner But is my ground school and ATPL theory exams and CPL/IR training will be recognized by Austro Control? So I don't have to undergo the ATPL exams again or do more flight hours.

I looked through this form (austrocontrol.at/jart/prj3/ac/data/dokumente/FO_LFA_PEL_213_EN_2019-01-03_1401350.pdf) for License Issuance after integrated ATP(A) course and it requires filling my training records but nothing seems to indicate it has to be in Austria.

The other solution is licence transfer once the initial CPL/IR licence is issued.
There will be no rush as jobs are non existent.

Hi...you have to request (by your present ATO/HT) the approval for an examiner by AustroControl; it could be done, the procedure is described in the Easa examiner documents (your HT for sure must know this); no problem about your theory.

Where are your medical records at this time? If you want an Austrian licence they need to be transferred to Austro Control.

It would be best to discuss this with both AustroControl and your HT for the best advice on how to proceed.
