Having just read the thread on how to wear you're hair for an interview I've just realised that there are so many important aspects that are over looked with regards to interviews.
So does anybody have advice on the following -
What type of handshake do you go for ? Bit of lip wrist action or bone crusher
What types of lucky superstitions do you adhear to ? crossing the door into the interview with you're right foot or rabbits foot in you're pocket
What's considered an acceptable bribe ? £100 or £1000
How colourful do you make youre past ? part time SAS and volunteer at the like a bit of missionary work in my spare time
Best colour of underpants to wear ? or go commando style
Any help would be appreciated

My lucky superstition is to wear a pair of pre-worn white Y fronts inside out on the outside of my trousers. The longer they have been continuously worn in the preceding weeks improves their luck giving abilities!
Don't know why but even my lucky pants haven't helped me get a job. Perhaps I need to wear them longer...

of course,
1) Whilst arriving at least 2 hours early for a 4 pm interview on a Friday (if poss), survey the fire meeting points ensuring you will be in the right place should an alarm be raised.
(it may be question in the interview)
2) Aim to take a careful note of how to locate the fire points and thoroughly memorize them for at least a half hour relative to your interviewer's location and design a path so that you may easily be in this viscinity later should the alarm call.
3) about an hour and half before your interview set off the alarm and make yourself very indespensable in his/her area including running back for final checks this will ensure that he has a quick thinking considerate professional he is standing next to at the fire point outside, later he will just about to to apologise for the delay when you open the door for your appointment and then he recognises 'you' sitting in front of him with a ripped jacket and dislodged tie looking very cool calm and collected a person who took the necessary time to check the fire procedures whilst the others being interviewed didn't bother.
At this stage as your appointment is the last interview of the day and the previous interviewees will go through ahead of you and you will be last then he will have your memory for the weekend..........
