Talking Finance!!

Howdi all

I plan to begin training in the US for my FAA CPL/IR in a year. I would have saved the majority of the cash needed for the training, but i'm wondering where the best place would be to get finance if i needed it - and approx. how much i would need for accommoation etc while i'm there.

Is my local friendly bank manager the best option or a US finance company specialising in finance for pilots?

Cheers.

JB.

US Financing companies

As far as I'm aware, companies in the US such as Sallie Mae, etc... would require someone resident/citizen in the US to 'vouch' for the loan. Check the websites for more info - I'm a little hazy.
