Recommended flight schools in South Africa - Cape Town or Durban
Hi Guys; I'm a Kiwi but would like to go to flight school in South Africa as the training is considerably cheaper than here in NZ. Ideally I'll get a CPL, MEIR. I have seen a lot of people recommend one of the bigger schools - 43 Air School in Port Alfred. This place looks quite impressive but it's not exactly much cheaper than NZ so with relocation to SA any savings would be negligible.
I'd like to find a well respected school ideally in Cape Town or Durban. So far I've seen Morningstar Flight School and CTFTC in Cape Town; and Virginia Flight School (VFS) and Focus Air in Durban. Does anyone have any experience with these outfits? Are there any other places that could be recommended?
