Me too! I did my assessment last Monday (17th) and still have not heard anything. Called CAE yesterday and heard nothing. Calling them again a few times today to try and see what is going on

I had an email back to say it would take 7-10 days to process the results.

Just got the email back, it was dissapointing news, I dropped down on the maths and physics, which I thought I did best in. Nevermind, back to the modular drawing board and hour building. Best of luck to those going forward.

Nah, I went for the mpl. I guess we'll have to wait until the end of this week, maybe longer. No news is good news.

I did stage 2 last week as well but haven't heard anything. I expect this is due to everything else going on in the world at the moment and easyJet asking CAE to put recruitment for the MPL on hold, hope I'm wrong but I expect in normal circumstances we would have heard back by now.

I have been told less than 50% first-time passes for the ATPL, so Iím assuming MPL is even lower.

Guys, eJ crews in Italy have been stood down until April 3rd at the earliest. Crews will be paid basic only with state assistance for the rest. We lease approx 30% of the fleet, so we can retract by 1/3 as required. A few weeks ago I was worried for friends who had command courses cancelled - now Iím concerned about keeping my job in 6 months time.

I would be VERY careful about coughing up cash to put for training anytime soon...

Yeah we're facing existential threats to the industry right now. I've just been offered an interview date as well, but I can't head to Madrid because of the risk of flights being cancelled. I think it's still worth going through with the interview for the experience at least, but I'll postpone any start date until autumn or onwards so we know exactly where the market is at before making any payments.

Yes, I got a stage 3 invite shortly after I posted saying I expect they've put everything on hold I am going to take a pragmatic approach as well, go for the interview and then if I am successful make a decision later down the road. Seems pointless not going for the interview as won't loose anything at this stage apart from a days leave from work and cost of travel etc. I am in the fortunate position that I already have another career in the public sector with a very secure job but and, although a pilot career is what I aspire to, I feel more sorry for those that don't have alternative options or are committed to this being their only option.

I guess they are trying to keep the show running for MPLs because at the end, the pilots will be needed in 2 years from now. The issue is if the assessment will be still on, with so many flight restrictions and possible lock downs from several countries. You might go, and then out of the blue, you might need to put into quarantine when you go back home.

I think you will find that Spain is about to declare a state of emergency which will, in all likelihood, put a stop to such events.

The interviews are in small groups so they could still go ahead. However, obviously travelling for it is an issue so I've moved my interview to Gatwick. Still, biggest concerns should be the hiring situation (or lack thereof).
