Question Renewing Multi rating

Can anyone tell me what is needed to keep the MEP valid after the initial 12 months? I read somewhere that 10 flights are needed plus a proficiency test. Does this mean Multi piston flights or single?

I'm a confused man!!

You are required to take an annual test with an examiner. You are also required to have completed 10 sectors as PIC of a MEP Class aeroplane in the period of validity or, one sector may be flown with the examiner.

A sector is defined as 15 minutes in the cruise with an associated take off and landing.

Allow 1.3 hours plus Examiners Fee of typically £60 - £75. If you have not flown a twin for some time you may need a little practice.
