Helicopter Instrument rating IR IFR
Hi all I can’t seem to find much on this within the forums, is there any opinions on doing a helicopter instrument rating To make one more employable? What kind of budget does one need?

And a twin rating....
Although there are one or two places where you can do a single-engined one. I hear that there's not really that much difference in price.

70 k? what’s the breakdown of that? I’ve seen R44s fitted out with IR equipment how many hours are required? Is it’s worth doing from a point of view of being more employable ?
And sorry for all the questions but what companies are around down south that do the rating?

40 hours in a Sim, 10 hours in the Helicopter.
Single engine IR waste of time, your competing with Multi engine IR's in the real world, putting yourself at a disadvantage .
20 hours minimum in a twin , is the real cost
You're better off going to the states , doing a IR in a R22 and coming back to the UK to convert
