IR Renewal
It is that time of year again and I need an IR renewal. Haven't flown a twin for a while and would like to ask if there are any recomendations for places to renew and do a refresher without breaking the bank. I have heard rumours that some non CAA examiners can be quite helpfull in keeping the cost down by combining training and the test on one flight. I would be grateful for any information on where to try.

Hi, I'm one of those non CAA examiners you mentioned. I give the candidate a practice to start with and then followed by the test.
