FAA vs EASA ATPL

Hello all,

I’m about to leave the military and looking at ATPL options.

My future employer has offered to, at some point, send me out to the states to complete an FAA ATPL - there is no rush as not required for new role. I have also signed up to BGS EASA distance learning course but haven’t sat any exams yet, and just wondering the best way to do this...

Should I wait until FAA licence complete, then begin study and take the exams to transfer, or would it make sense to do them side by side, and get started on the BGS Exams now? Obviously I don’t wish to sit all 14 exams then have some time limit or other run out and mean I have to do them again, as I hear it’s not that fun....

Cheers in advance
