EASA ATPL to FAA ATP
Hello,
I am an EASA airline pilot with 5000hrs TT and 1500hrs PIC on commercial planes. I need to get the FAA ATP asap. Unfortunately there are not a lot ACTUAL informations on the web regarding this topic. It seems to be much more complicated these days. Has anybody ANY information?
- Which schools offer these conversion?
- How much time and money to invest?
- any other inputs?

In short, there is no conversion, you need to simply follow the requirements to gain the FAA ATP listed in 14 CFR part 61A person who is applying for an airline transport pilot practical test must meet -(i) The eligibility requirements of § 61.153; and(ii) The aeronautical knowledge and aeronautical experience requirements of this subpart that apply to the aircraft category and class rating sought.
