Calculating cross/headwind component on Jeppesen Flight Computer

How does one calculate cross-/headwind components on a Jeppesen Student flight computer when given the true heading of the aircraft, the true wind direction and the wind speed? Say 040 degrees, 070 degrees and 40 knots respectively. On a CRP-5 for example there is an additional square grid on which these calculations are carried out.
