Convert ICAO ATPL to EASA with old EASA ATPL theory certificate
Dear pilots,
Anyone know if it is possible to convert ICAO ATPL to EASA with a older EASA theory certificate?
I got my license in Europe back in 2009 and then I moved to another place and I never renewed my EASA (at the time was JAA).
Now to convert my ICAO ATPL they asked me to pass the 14 tests plus simulator.
The issue is that I already have a older EASA ATPL theory certificate. Can I use it so I avoid doing all examinations again?
Thanks

EASA has strict time limitations for almost ever part of the atpl examination process and CAAs builds their own procedures using these prescribed limits. The best way to find whether a particular CAA may accept your cert is just making an conversion application with it.
