ATPL INTEGRATED / FLIGHT SCHOOL CHANGE

Good evening, my name is Riccardo, last January I started the ATPL INTEGRATED course in a school in Greece, exactly one year later, after a few hours of flight and some theoretical examination I find myself in a situation where I would like to return to Italy to finish this course. I would like to know if you are aware of a possibility of any changes. The plan would be to contact a possible flight school in Italy, communicate my flight hours and ask if it could be completed in this new school. I also wanted to know if you are aware of the theoretical exams. Obviously also in Italy it is necessary to pass 14 exams that are the same across Europe. The exams passed in Greece, recognized by the EASA could be validated in Italy? THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE

Hey Riccardo,

I would guess, that it all depends on agreement that you signed with your ATO. Check terms and conditions, ask for refund, and have them sign your logbook. Nobody can take away your hours, but you may not be able to start in Italy in exactly the same spot that you finished in Greece, because there may be certain differences in training program. Afaik you can't "transfer" exam passes, so if you started taking them with one CAA then you start from zero with another.

Have a nice day.

Hi Riccardo

We have students from different countries (Sweden, Denmark...) transfering into our integrated course in Spain without any problem. Yes, a Greek ATPL certificate (all subjects passed) will be accepted in another EASA member state. But you must have passed all subjects

Hope it helps

Regards
