Fly in spain - No response
Pretty much as the title says. I have emailed fly in spain regarding their EASA conversion program as I have read decent reviews and was always interested in their flight school. Problem is no one seems to respond to emails or phone calls... I have read that they aren't very good at getting back to people, but how is one supposed to actually get information and potentially sign up with them unless they go to the flight school in person?

Exactly as post #2 says. If they are this unreliable with communication before you hve started, take this as a warning and go somewhere else. Imagine what they will be like when you're training there!
A simple automated email stating they have received high volume of emails and are dealing with them etc etc is not a difficult task is it?

FlyinSpain as well as FTE Jerez administrative offices were closed on Season Holidays from December 20th till January 8th, Fly In Spain had operations running every day during that period as they had FI working extra to keep the demand of students flying.
They had non stop flying days for the last 2 months+ as the weather was great.
I would estimate that by today they would be coming back to you as they are still catching up since mid last week.

It's difficult to rule them out because it's a really good price on a nice fleet. I've also spoken to two ex-students who have highly rated the ATO.
It's Southern Europe, it's normal for us to have long breaks. Get used to it!

Don't part a dime until you get a response you are happy with. It all might seem like an unnecessary delay now but signing on before you have your questions answered is the worst thing to do.
