Ifr approach tolerances altitude
Hi guys,can you Tell me , what's the altitude tolerance during ifr approach, vor , ils? For example if we make altitude check on 5.0nm , and the reference is 1900ft how far we can be above ? My last instructor told me that , there is 150ft +- tolerance , but I can't find any information about this .

Depends on the test, ILS is usually half scale deviation. NPAs like LOC, VOR, NDB etc you usually talk yourself down via a dme/alt table. You need to be getting closer to the profile at each one and never bust any step heights or your MDA/DA.

In my school, one dot deflection in precision approache makes you unstabilized, for np approaches, as written above, you should be +/- on the profile if you are making a CDFA, for step down, do not go below the minimum and a plus of 50 ft (max) is ok.

Height
Generally +100 feet
Starting a go-around at decision height - +50 feet/-0 feet
Minimum descent height/ altitude - +50 feet/-0 feet
Tracking
Angular deviation - Half scale deflection, azimuth and glide path
3D linear vertical deviation - -75 feet below the vertical profile at any time and not more than +75 feet above the vertical profile at or below 1000 feet above aerodrome level
