No calculator in Spain!

Hey guys you can call me a noobie but why is there no Calculator in Spain's Senasa exams?I mean how the hell we should pass when we have Things like sin,cos,tan to calculate and among other stuff? any advice as i am panicking as i just found out and the worst part is i am already studying there

Perhaps they mean there is a prohibition on "programmable" calculators. That is how it is here in Canada. This forces you to know the formulae required for the exams rather than programming it all into a calculator for quick recall during an exam.

They cannot prohibit all calculators as the old and trusty E-6B is nothing more than a circular slide ruler that doubles as a calculator (if you know how to use it right that is).

When I did my PPL, there was a "virtual" calculator on the exam system. I am pretty sure you can use this one on ATPLs...

I know guys i cant use the programmable one . but cant we use the same one as the CAA UK ONE? can someone give me a picture of how a visual one is? EVEN in the UK when i done couple of atpl's you could take couple of specific calculators and you had to know the formula by heart isnt it like that in spain?

I did my PPL a few years ago, but I think this was the calculator provided: Calculadora cientÃ*fica para los Exámenes Teóricos para PILOTOS. SENASA.
