New Start At Last

Well today was the day, my resignation letter filed with the appropriate authorities and a ground school place beckoning when I finish work in early November.

With backup employment plans in place, a tentative part-time instructing job when I finish training and 3 years of hard savings, I'm ready to put my face on the professional gonnabe scene and realise a dream I've had for the last 14 years.

To be honest it feels great, I only hope that the Iraq situation settles and the tea leaves forecasting a positive trend in the job market during spring 2004 are correct.

GAPAN think I have a high chance of success, so it's off to HSBC now to convince them to top off my savings. Time to dust off the bank manager suit.

I'd be very interested to hear what the drill was at HSBC;
What they wanted to know,
and if you got the dosh.

Fonawah

Thanks for the wishes.

David

No worries, I'm offshore at the moment but once I'm back on dry land, I'll post my HSBC experience here.
