Theory training before flight

Hi,

I've been having trouble finding advice onto whether to complete my flight training in conjunction with theory or could the possibility of completing the relevant theory before commencing flight training to assure full understanding whilst allowing myself to save a bit of extra money so all flight training can be completed in a block would be a better option?

Your experience and advice is appreciated.

It's definitely better to get the exams done first. Most pilots end up having to pause flight training until they get it done.
