Question Just how long will I remain current for?

Just thinking a year or so ahead.

I will have just finished my CPL/IR with not a great deal of hours. I should also have an frozen ATPL.

Imagine the airlines are not hiring for a while.

What will I need to do to keep my CPL/IR current? Will pootling about in a Cherokee for a couple of hours a month, whilst waiting for a job offer do the trick?

I understand the instructor options blah, blah, blah....but I am just trying to find out the minimum required.

I am not trying to be pessamistic but just establishing the worst case senario.

Talking

You did forget the small matter of renewing your IR every year.

However if you do have the above qualifications, then go out there and get a job. Try CFE, Brymon and BA for a start.

Good luck
