IFR Procedures

Hi guys,

I'm going to start my licenses in the USA and then I want to convert in EASA. I have a question: is there a big difference between the IFR procedures in USA and the IFR procedures in Europe?

EASA use NDBs, FAA tends not to.

Only in that you will need to practice with NDBs

Don't forget the 'gates' - I'm sure it's perfectly doable in 15 hours, assuming the ILS and Asymmetric drills are already there.

Ok, drift and dip aside, it should still be doable to convert in 15 hours, if you concentrate on the NDB stuff.

But that would eat into your "training as required". Better to do it from the start.
