Check-ride in LA
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a reputable outfit in the Los Angeles area for a EASA -> FAA PPL check ride. I'm in the process of getting my EASA license verified by the FAA and wish to build some hours here as i'm here frequently on layovers with work.

You don't need a 'checkride' as that is a flight with an examiner.
You need a flight review in accordance with 14 CFR 61.53 in order to complete the license validation process.
This is done by a Flight instructor who can combine it with the airplane checkout for solo rental.
As far as a flightschool in the LA area?
There must be hundreds in California.
