Post Education for fliers

I was wondering if anybody knew the kind of post-seondary education recruiters are looking for these days. I know they want something, but anything in particular? What about a professional degree -- Engineer, Lawyer, etc. Would that fast-track a candidate in any way?

I am not talking from experience, but from what i have heard and read in magazines that airlines look first and foremost at experience and licences held, number of hours etc... and then they will look at education at the end.

I would think that GCSEs and A Levels are the minimum and i can only suggest anything extra is a bonus, I personally have a management degree, nothing to do with aviation, but i think it might be useful later on in my career

Hope this helps
