Post CAA Trading Standards

Hi - Does anyone know about the CAA Trading Standards and what happens when a complaint is lodged about a JAA approved FTO (not in the UK) ? Cheers.

The CAA has a published but little publicised complaints procedure which can be obtained from the library at Gatwick.

Your complaint is dealt with initially by the person responsible, in this case it will be someone from Flight Crew Licensing involved with approvals. If you are not satisfied with his or her response you refer the complaint to Ron Elder, the Head of Personnel Licensing.

If you are still not satisfied with the way your complaint has been dealt with you should write to the Head of Corporate Affairs at the Belgrano.
