Helicopter to fixed wing conversion: outcome ?
Hi everyone,
has anyone out there converted from heli to fixed wing recently (perhaps North Sea IFR guys) ?
If so, was your heli IFR time well recognized and welcomed by airlines or are you still struggling to find a FW job ?
I would also be happy to hear from those of you whom bit the bullet and went the CTC AQC way after the conversion vs just the standard CPL-A-ME/IR. Has the school/training you have completed made a difference in finding a job ?
Thank you for all the inputs.

North Sea pilots (or similar) are looked on favourably - after all instrument flying is instrument flying.....
I know several who have bridged with the exams and have jobs pending their basic FW qualifications. I believe they are doing the standard ME/IR, hour building in odd places.
