ATPL Skills Test
Hi guys,
I am approaching the 1500 hour mark but I will just miss out on reaching it before my next LOE so I can't unfreeze my licence. My question is can I pay for an instructor and a simulator to give me the test as soon I pass the required hour mark?

Yes. I did it outside of my company as it was a requirement to get the next co-pilot contract. Cost me 1000 all in. Ask your company TREs and I'm sure they'll know someone who does this in their own time. Avoid contacting sim operators or schools directly as they want stupid prices...

If you're close don't forget you can use certain amounts of sim time (depending on device type) towards the 1500 hours. Apologies if you already know this but I've known a lot of people to overlook it.

Thanks for the reply folks.
I'll ask one the TREs then cheers Uberpilot.
Yes I've included those hours OhNoCB
Its for a pay rise so if its around the 1000 pound mark then its worth the investment
