I walked in recently and was shocked by the lack of experience in the instructors. They are all incredibly young, and from what I hear just waiting to get a job with an airline. I walked right back out.

That might well be true but the CPL/IR instruction is done by a highly experienced and professional instructor, not by the younger ones you may have seen.

Yeah I think we can say it's more than likely that the young instructors you saw would have been teaching LAPL/PPL etc but not CPL/IR.

Couldn't be 100% on that of course.

I have been considering Tayside for future CPL/IR training myself, so would be keen to know what you decide JB57

Yeah in fairness I didn't hang around long to check the CPL instructor. It didn't seem like a very professional set-up inside tbh.

That said maybe their CPL Instructor has different facilities etc.

It was the main reception. Not sure if that's the club house. Guys all seemed a bit nervous and inexperienced, that's the jist I got anyway. Maybe their CPL instructor is alright. I'm just saying what I saw, before anyone invests sizeable amounts of cash.
