Tayside Aviation Professional Pilot Degree Program
Hi Everyone,
Has anyone ever done the selection for the Tayside Aviation degree course? Just wondering if anyone knew what the tests were like and if you have any advice for me?
Thanks!

I also looked into the Tayside Aviation and CTC Wings degree program with Middlesex University.
You spend two years doing the foundation degree at 10 hours on-line per week.
You also have to pay the full 9000+ Pounds for each year even though it's only part time.
Then you move onto the full final year on-line program.
Total cost 3 x 9000+ = 27,000+ Pounds.
Or you can bypass the foundation degree by having 3 years experience as first officer.
Cost 9000+ Pounds.
CAE Oxford has a similar program with New Bucks university.
Again the foundation degree is 10 hours a week for two years.
To bypass and go straight to the degree.
The wait time is two years as first officer or flight instructor.
I think your (or your parents) money will be better spent elsewhere, than doing a foundation degree.
Everybody is thinking Ryanair 737 co-pilot.
You will need about the same money as a degree to buy your type rating.
The degree wont get you the job.
The type rating may.
