Commencing ATPL exams under the IAA with EASA CAA UK Medical?
Hi there.
I'm due to start my ATPLs under the IAA and wanted to confirm that there is no problem in doing my 14 exams in Ireland and transferring them over once completed?
I have a EASA CAA UK PPL and CAA UK Class 1 medical.
Would it maybe be easier to transfer everything over to IAA or just send the CAA the results once completed?
Would appreciate the advice and feedback.

Where in Ireland are you doing your ATPLs at?
I/we are now very interested in doing a degree in Ireland, so would be interested in learning more about ATPL written exam in Ireland as well, with the flying part maybe at FTE. It will cost more than planned, but could be worth it.
I know I change my mind like the wind on this, but the more you read, the more you learn.
I could be the kind of father who just wrote a big cheque to the big two, but I'm not built that way. I want to get involved and figure out a better way. And it looks to me, that's what your doing too.
