Hello,
The biggest scam in the aviation history come from our governments who charges us a fortune for some JAR tests.
Do you know how much they make?:here my estimation:100 guys in a room with 14 test at 60 bucks=84'000 Bucks.Yop, it s what the Gov makes in 4 days.
Why they don't make like in the US with computerized test run by privat agencies? yeah! you are right, it's a too good business to give him to honest citizen, they love your money and they will continue such practice as long nobody complaint.
This is valid for UK, France, Switzerland...and other countries.

A big scam it is. Another scam - why do we have to pay VAT on training? Its ok if your on the dole, the government will train the dole wallers to get a job, but when your willing to work hard for something you want, the goverment penalise you.
Flying could be made so much more affordable if the government believed that flying is for everybody, not just the affluent.
