Post B & B at Gatwick?

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know of cheapish accommodation within walking distance ie 1 mile of CAA Hq in gatwick?

Or are there any cheap hotels around 30 quid in the area.

thanks

Logans Guest House,

Run by a really nice couple from New Zealand. £30 for a single room and breakfast.(Bit more for ensuite) Comfortable rooms and lovely people. Its just by the Moat House near the North Terminal, not a few minutes walk, but £3-4 in a taxi, or the landlord might even give you a lift in if you ask nicely!

01293 783363- lplease let them know I recommended them - I owe them a few favours!

Cheers,

There's plenty in a nearby town called Horley. It's right on the perimeter of LGW, so not too far to get to the CAA.. .I can't think of any particular places to stay, but run a search on www.yell.co.uk , and you should get a few options. Alternatively, theres a Holiday Inn express in Crawley, a mile or so south of the airport, although I think prices run to about £40-45 a night

Contact me if you need more info, I live in the area

You could always try the Gatwick Manor (It's a Travel Inn) on the A23 Southbound between Lowfield Heath and First Choice HQ or the Ibis Hotel next door to First Choice HQ. You've then got a walk of about 1.5 miles along Fleming Way, turning left at the roundabout at the end, to the next roundabout (nicknamed "Radar Roundabout"), from there you can see the General Belgrano Offices (sorry - bad joke!)........ .
