Financing Pilot Training
I'll be leaving college soon and am after some 'top tips' on financing Pilot Training.
From what I've been told i'ts very expensive and being a student I'm already in dept thanks to the government!!! So I could do with sponsorship or finding a way to earn the cash.
I'm open to suggestions!

Sponsorships are a bit thin on the ground at the moment.
Earning the money? Well, in Oz I was a cleaner, bouncer, bar attendant, lab technician etc etc....... Just get a job and earn the money. There are some banks that will lend you some of the money.
Loans and the like have been discussed before.

As red say's, this topic has been discussed over and over.
I called the HSBC yesterday, and spoke with an extremely helpful person at their head office, and this morning received details on Postgraduate and Professional Studies Loans.

Alternatively, buy yourself a dinner jacket, pop down to London and make some enquiries at a few escort agencies. As long as the missus is understanding, you should be able to make enough for your course in a few months.
But seriously, I've had too many jobs to remember, generally more than one at a time, in order to pay for my training. If you do take this option and can get part-time work at your flying club, it can pay in the future. Good Luck

Money!
Firstly you need to make a small investment. If you haven't already done so it would be advisable to pop down your local airfield and book a lesson. It is surprising the number of people who want to become pro pilots but don't even do this before shelling out major dosh.
Next it would be best to buy "Guide to getting a commercial pilots licence" by Clive Hughes. A must for all wannabe pilots out there.
The next big step is to buy a balaclava and a replica sorn-off and plan your bank robbery!

Also consider a class 1 medical, consider taking a year out and shedding some debt.
To put it into perspective a trial lesson may cost you £80.00
at the other end of your training schedule to conduct your flight test for your initial instrument rating on a twin with the the lovely man from the CAA you can budget on a whole terms expenditure and not get any change. This was to date the most expensive 2.5 hours of my life........
