CFI Study Question/Tips

Hi everyone,

this is my first post on PPRuNe. I've been to the site a few times before but never signed up until now.
I am planning on getting my CFI in June at American Flyers SMO where I shall do the 15 day course. I am purposely not doing the 30 day CFI(I) due to other reasons, mainly being I am still in University about to start my senior year.

My question is, and I know it can be seen as a personal preference kind of question, but would it be more beneficial for me to study everything by typing or by hand writing my notes. I have always been a writing kind of guy but typing on a laptop is so much quicker, however I am not sure if I am taking in the material as effectively.

I was wondering if there are any out there that could tell me what they find to be more effective.

This may seem like a strange question but I want to study all the material in the best kind of way.

Thank you!

There is no 'best way' - only what works best for you.
