COMMERCIAL PILOT TRAINNING

Dear
I'm from Vietnam and working as a aircraft maintenance technician. Now, i want to learn commercial pilot and look for some good courses. pls give me some advices about:
1. Should i take FAA or EASA course? any good flight school around asia (Philippine, NZ, AUS, US...)
2. Do I need to complete all modulars (PPL, CPL, IR, MCC, ATPL).
3. What is the standard of the other airlines?
4. Do i have to do type rating myself? Will i have advantage when i do type rating myself than the others?
5. Can I work for other airlines outside of VN after completing CPL course?

Thanks for your advices.
