ATPL E-exams
Hi. I'm a previous ATPL'er but let my exams lapse due arrival of family. I've now repeated the first module and ready for exams so may go direct to the exam centre (at approval of training provider). What are the new e-exams like? Are they similar to simply doing the QB on your laptop but in a formal set-up? Any info appreciated, thanks.

The CAA made a video demonstration of the e-exams here

Pretty much exactly like doing a QB on your laptop!
Instant pass/fail too!
The registration is a bit lengthy, but if you have a some sort of previous CAA documentation (PPL etc), this makes the process easier.

Thanks all - will check out the video. I got 97% average way back and reasonably confident to go straight to exams this time though wary of recent additions (3000+ questions). Either way I assume these are similar to current question types and no curve balls with new types. Would appreciate any recent feedback as on practise exams of the existing QB (~10000Q's) I'm currently averaging 80-85%. Thanks.
