Looking for a flight school for the ATPL

Hi all, I'm looking for a flight school where I can get all the required licenses to get the ATPL and become an airline first officer. My first plan was to go study in the US and get the FAA ATPL, but I heard some flight instructors I know and they told me that, since I'm not american, it would be impossible for me to work for any american airline since none of them would support my visa; same answer from other US Flight school. Now I'm looking for a flight school here in Europe. My question is: to be actually elegible to be hired as an airline first officer what do I need to have? I mean the ATPL of course, but what about the MCC? Some flight schools don't include it in the First Officer training, so is it mandatory for an airline pilot? Should I wait for the type rating on any jet or should I get it now? Right now my best choice would be in slovenia, ADRIA Airways flight school and I'm about to visit it, but I saw something in Spain as well. Do you have any suggestions and/or answers?
Thank you and fly safe!
Stefano

Welcome to the Wannabee forum.

You will find that there are lots of people here who are willing to help and they all have varying degrees of experience.

Choosing a Flight Training Organisation has been covered many times on this forum and it is a very subjective matter.

Could I ask you to a couple of hours reading through the various threads? You may find the 'Search' function handy.

You will find that most of your questions will have been asked - and answered - a number of times. You will also learn a lot about the profession you wish to join.

Good luck
