Question What's the deal with sponsorship?

Heard that KLM UK are taking F/Os on the Fokker 50 fleet - with sponsorship. Does anyon ehave any details about the KLM UK scheme? I.e. Do you get paid during training? Do you have to contribute to the cost? Where is the training done etc. All replies greatfully accepted...

Thanx Speedbird,
Does anyone know what the deal is with sponsorship for type-ratings with a view to employment; for someone with a CPL or ATPL already?

Question

I seem to remember talk, be it a while ago now, of Britannia considering introducing a sponsorship scheme. Does anyone know if this ever went further than the drawing board, or for that matter if it will happen anytime soon or in the near future?
Thanks in advance
