Post would you fly with this guy

i just thought i'd start a topic about those people who are slightly mentally challenged.
Spent time with wannabes on 2 week groundschool who couldn't add 2+2 but had no insight. Will these people eventually make it on the flight deck with question and answer technique?

I think the Q is,will youever make on the flight deck with your ever-so-slightly elitist and intolerant approach to those who otherwise may have needed your help?

Just a thought..

Question

Davere

The exams are difficult and many people
sadly fail them - best to concentrate
on your own stuff not others

How are you finding them davere?

Davere,

Does your opinion on those who are "slightly mentally challenged" stretch to grammar as well as arithmetic?
I bet your course colleagues must feel ashamed not to meet your high standards!!

Gidday Flying Sheep.

How'd your exams go? P of F a bit of a nightmare but otherwise not too bad on this side. All the best with your results.

Cheers

Either you're a wind up merchant or a British Airways Cadet. Some people find groundschool harder than others, simple fact. Concentrate on yourself.

Ability is a continuous scale - we are all on it somewhere.

Determination is something else...

And if you have both....

Red face

So what if some people are "mentally challenged" , i found Groundschool tough but I survived and came through with good marks. No matter who you are there is always a space in the Aviation community for anyone!. There is after all enough rules and regs!, enthusiasm is the key if you want something bad enough you'll get it no matter what.

And Porticullis: your comment about BA cadets just proves you have a similar attitude to that which you consider BA cadets to have themselves.
